Q: Is there an entry fee to submit artwork?Ī: No, however, Postcards From the Edge requires months of preparation, processing, and hard work to make it a success. All submitting artists’ names are included in an alphabetical list on the Visual AIDS website and in a printed program distributed at the gallery. Part of the fun of Postcard from the Edge, is all the work is displayed anonymously, however the artist's name is revealed to buyers after purchase. All work that arrives by deadline and meets the submission criteria will be displayed.Ī: You don't. Q: Is the show juried? How will I know if my work will be displayed?Ī: No, the exhibition and sale is not juried. For example, a pre-printed or mass produced postcard or a 4 x 6” print of a larger original work are not eligible to be included. There are no limitations to theme or subject matter, however work should be original. Q: What kind of artwork can be submitted?Ī: Postcard sized artwork can be in any medium, including drawings, photographs, paintings, printmaking, textile, sculpture and mixed media, as long as it is 4' x 6' inches - horizontal or vertical format are fine. All submitted artworks will be exhibited at Ortuzar Projects and available for purchase online.
